Biography:

Andrea Shindle is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the founder of the Colorado Center for Trauma and Attachment in Greeley, Colorado. As a National Certified Counselor with specialized training in Developmental Dyadic Psychotherapy, Andrea provides an expert clinical focus on grief, trauma, and early childhood attachment injury.

A proud alumna of the University of Northern Colorado, Andrea earned both her Bachelor’s in Psychology and her Master’s in Family, Couples, and Clinical Counseling in Greeley. This deep local connection fuels her passion for serving the diverse populations of Weld County, including children, adults, and families navigating complex dynamics like kinship care, foster care, and blended family transitions.

Beyond the therapy room, Andrea is a recognized leader in the Northern Colorado mental health community. She currently serves as the Chairwoman of the Board for Alternative Homes for Youth, where she advocates for trauma-informed care and community education.

At the Colorado Center for Trauma and Attachment, she utilizes advanced therapeutic methods including EMDR, EFT, and Attachment-Based Therapy to help clients integrate their experiences and foster lasting personal growth.
